Modern D.o.c.

In 1997 the vineyards were registered in the D.O.C. Colli di Faenza. Although very recent, and therefore partially unknown, they have strict production rules, in line with the market demands and the high quality of the Rontana vineyards.
Moreover, we like the reference to Faenza, a city historically known for the production of ceramics and so important for giving the name Faience, or faïence, which in French and English identifies the majolica.

Maximum yield per hectare: 9.5 tonnes

Minimum natural strength during harvest: 12% vol.

Maximum yeld when wine production is completed: 65%
